Dos & Don’ts

DON’T DOS

  • Hold Zap Spark Plug Tester in your hand whilst testing a spark plug. Place on a flat surface, press the red button to discharge voltage.
  • Touch Spark Plug Tester whilst red button is pressed.
    (Or you will find out the painful way why not)
  • Leave batteries in Zap Spark Plug Tester whilst it is being transported, or not used for periods of time.
  • Get Zap Spark Plug Tester wet as it could cause short in its internal electronics.
  • Let children play with the Zap Spark Plug Tester.
  • Check spark plugs near petrol or any flammable materials.
  • Lend your Zap Spark Plug Tester to anyone It may not come back in the same condition as you lent it. Simple rule always “don’t lend tools” One day you will realise why.

DOS

  • Check even brand-new spark plugs.
  • Use only Quality batteries like Duracell Alkaline or Eveready Gold in your ZAP SPARK PLUG TESTER.
  • Replace Zap Spark Plug Tester back in its box when not in use.
  • Do not be afraid to experiment with other brands of spark plugs.
    Remember, the most expensive is not always the best.
